Casey Barrett is a Canadian Olympian and was a nine-time All-American at the University of Southern California and Southern Methodist University. His competitive swimming career was centered around two of the top programs in America: the North Baltimore Aquatic Club (NBAC) and the Bolles School, in Jacksonville, Florida. Casey learned to swim when he was four years old on Dorval Island, just outside of Montreal. 

Along with Lars Merseburg, Casey is the co-founder of Imagine Swimming, the premier school of swimming in New York. Casey is a leading voice of the sport both as a swim school founder and writer. He has won three Emmy awards and one Peabody award for his work on NBC's broadcasts of the 2000, 2004, 2006, and 2008 Olympic Games. He is the author of a forthcoming crime fiction series, with his first novel UNDER WATER coming out in fall 2017.
